The Sandy Nest Offers:

- Linens, towels, and parking are included in your stay. Bed linens and towels are fully laundered between every stay to provide the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation.

- Housekeeping: No full service housekeeping services are provided during the stay. However, if you'd like to purchase additional cleanings during your stay, you may contact the host to arrange prior to your arrival. 

- All occupants must be over 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

- No motorcycles, RV's or Trailers are allowed on resort property.


A Letter to Our Guests

 

  


Welcome Travelers,

 

We are so excited you are considering to stay at “The Sandy Nest” while you relax and enjoy your time at the beach!  I would like to give you instructions regarding the check-in, check-out, locking & unlocking the front door and general house information.  This is a contract with our guests. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know otherwise you are agreeing to all the conditions on this communication.

 

• Check-in time is after 4:00 pm on the day of arrival.

 

• Check out procedure. 

-        Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Please make sure all windows are closed and doors are locked    

including pool door, sliding doors, and doors to second story balcony upstairs. If possible, please place the wooden bars back in the sliding door frame for extra security.

-        We would ask you to place all the towels on the bathroom floor for easy collection.

-        If any dishes were used and are dirty, we kindly ask you to load the dishwasher and start it. 

-        Lastly, if you can take out the kitchen trash to the trash container outside the house, we would greatly appreciate it!

 

• THE FRONT DOOR IS UNLOCKED BY USING A FOUR DIGIT CODE. Your unique entry code will be priovded via text prior to your arrival.  To unlock the front door, simply Enter the 4-digit code and then press the “Yale” sign at the bottom of the keypad.  To lock the front door, when leaving the house, just touch the Yale logo on the bottom of the keypad and this action will lock the door. The code will only work during your stay starting after 4:00 PM the day of your stay and stops working at 10:00 AM the day of your departure.

 

·  NOTE: Clean linens are very important to us! All the linens are serviced by a local company.  We have provided makeup remover wipes and BLACK makeup washcloths for your convenience in all bathrooms. Utilizing these will help us keep our whites, WHITE! We appreciate your help with this.

 

• To heat up the pool, please text me no later than 8:00 pm, at 631.456.3023 or 631.482.6648. The weather will determine how warm the water will get and how quickly. Please keep in mind that the pool will not get a warm as a hot tub, but the temperature can be raised a few degrees for your enjoyment.

 

• The house is equipped with a fast internet service for your convenience in the case you would like to stream movies or music.  The SSID is “SpectrumSetup-F8” and the P/W: grumpystove752

 

• BE AWARE by law, the first floor door from the kitchen to the pool must stay closed at all times except when accessing the pool area.  When stepping into the pool area, open the door and then press the button located on the door sill above the handle before you close the door.  If you hear the door alarm go off, open the door and press the alarm button, then close the door.   

 

• Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house, the 2nd floor balcony, or the pool area.  THERE IS $1000 DOLLARS ADDITIONAL CLEAN FEE IF THERE IS EVIDENCE OF SMOKING FOUND BY THE CLEANING CREW.

 

• The house is fully equipped with cooking utensils, dinner ware, appliances and electronics. After check-out, housekeeping does a house inventory of all items.  In case of broken or missing items, the replacement cost or repair cost will be deducted from the deposit.  You will be notified.

 

• The house is supplied with all toiletries, kitchen garbage bags and paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels.  We provide the initial set, but guests are responsible for supplying additional items if needed.  If you are staying longer than 2 nights, it is recommended to make a run to the grocery store for additional quantities.

 

• All guests have access to North Beach Plantation (NBP) pools, hot tubs, towel service, and gym.  You must be wearing NBP wristband (provided on welcome center table in living area).  The towel cards also are on table by the kitchen.  If there not enough, let me know and I can have the front desk give you more.

 

• In case of a fire, there is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink.   

 

• No pets allowed.  IF PETS ARE FOUND TO BE ON PROPERTY, GUESTS WILL FORFEIT ALL FUNDS PROVIDED AND YOUR STAY WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY. YOU WILL HAVE 2 HOURS TO EXIT THE PREMISES BEFORE TRESPASSING PROCEDURES ARE ENACTED.

 

• We do our best to keep The Sandy Nest a relaxing and friendly home atmosphere so all our guests can enjoy the house and North Beach Plantation.  BEWARE No parties, loud music or gathering of people not staying at North Beach Plantation past 10:00 PM.

 

• There are security cameras outside the house for the protection of our guests and the property (the cameras are located by the front door, garage, back patio and pool deck).

 

•  We have created a website for the beach house at www.TheSandyNest.com .  The website gives you access to more house photos, videos, and links to local businesses.  If you need to rent anything while you are staying at the house, visit the website for places to rent them (baby items, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.…).  They have delivery and pick up services.
